The mission of the Certified Nursing Assistant program is to prepare students for entry into a global workforce as a Certified Nursing Assistant.

This program will prepare students for entry-level position as a Certified Nursing Assistant providing patient care. The compentencies of this program follows the duties and responsibilities of a Certified Nursing Assistant as outlined by the Louisiana Department of Health and Hospital/ Louisiana Nurse Aide Registry. Topics of study include anatomy and physiology, health assessment, nutrition, communication, and legal rights and ethics. The students will also demonstrate their skills in lab and in the clinical setting. Upon completion of all program requirements, the students will complete the certification exam and receive a certificate of completion. 

CNA Gainful Employment Disclosure

The goal of the Healthcare Training Institute is the prepare the graduate to take and pass the Nursing Assistant Certification Exam, obtain their certification, and gain employment as a Certified Nursing Assistant.
