The mission of the Administration Health Care Assistant program is to prepare students for entry into a global workforce as a Administration Health Care Assistant.

This program will prepare students for entry-level position as a Administrative Health Care Assistant in the hospital or clinic. The compentencies of this program follows the duties and responsibilities of a Administrative Health Care Assistant as outlined by the Louisiana Board of Regents. This program will prepare the student to work in a medical office or hospital. Graduates will be able to run many aspects of a busy medical office. Have hands-on practice in coordinating patient schedules, using medical terminology, medical office procedures, managing the electronic health records system and managing tasks that makes a medical office run smoothly. The students will also demonstrate their skills in lab and in the clinical setting. Upon completion of all program requirements, the students will receive a certificate of completion.

Administrative Health Care Assistant Gainful Employment Disclosure

The goal of the Healthcare Training Institute is the prepare the graduate to take and pass the Administrative Health Care Assistant Certification Exam, obtain their certification, and gain employment as a Certified Administrative Health Care Assistant.
