1. The Healthcare Training Institute is an Alcohol and Drug Free Educational Facility and Workplace. Alcohol, Drugs and Cigarette Smoking is prohibited in school or on school campus as required by the Drug-Free Workplace Act of 1988, and implemented at 34 C.F.R. Part 84, subpart C, for recipients who are individuals, as defined at 34 C.F.R. Part 84, Section 84.300. As a condition to have the ability to participate in the handling of federal funds, the Healthcare Training Institute certifies that it we will not engage in any unlawful manufacturing, distribution, dispensing, possession of, or use of a controlled substance while conducting any activity related to the award.
2. The Healthcare Training Institute is dedicated to providing the best protection possible to safeguard the lives and property of the students, staff, instructors, school and its community. In supporting our mission as a public service institution, all members of the Healthcare Training Institute will actively participate in providing the highest quality of safety and security possible. The Healthcare Training Institute will disclose all information about our campus crime and security incidents on our website in a timely manner.
3. Any employee or student violating this school policy, will be reported and charges will be filed following Local, State and Federal Laws.
The Healthcare Training Institute’s Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act, codified at 20 USC 1092 (f) as a part of the Higher Education Act of 1965, is a federal law that requires colleges and universities to disclose certain timely and annual information about campus crime and security policies.
